About this Open Mic Night
Backline
Our backline includes Drum kit, Microphones, PA System, Piano and Amplifiers
Description
Jazz Jam is a reoccurring open mic every third Monday of each month. The doors open and sign up begins at 6:15 although you can arrive any time throughout the evening. Quintin Harris is on the piano but pianists are more than welcome to sit in. I curate the order to keep things interesting and I'll sing an occasional tune. We have Clayton Thompson on stand up bass and he is happy to take break, too. We have a drum kit with cymbals and sticks ready for takers. (We are looking for a regular drummer.)
There is a $5 cover charge plus a $20 minimum which must include two drinks. There is food available. We are CASH ONLY!
What to expect
Open mic nights are events where performers, from singers to poets, take the stage to share their talents in front of a live audience, providing a platform for emerging artists to gain exposure and connect with fellow creatives.
