I am interested to play with others informally. Jams at clubs can feel harder for me, with noise, amount of people, skill level. I hope to meet people I can progress with.

It's hard for me to describe my level - some parts of playing I've had more success with (like tone and technique, at least in the past), some I've struggled with (like memorizing changes)

I am ok with trying tunes that aren't the most popular standards.

Lower Manhattan and maybe midtown can be easier for me, but finding good environments is most important to me, so I can potentially go further.

I may have access to a room to use in midtown, and maybe for the next month in lower Manhattan too

I am probably not technically developed enough on flute to play much with others yet, but I hope to be. With saxophone I can at least
