Gabriel Mumbray

After stepping back to expand his artistic and musical palette, Brighton-based singer-songwriter Gabriel Mumbray emerges with a new chapter — a collection of songs that feel like his most honest and expansive work yet. Rooted in the soulful intensity of the blues, his music carries the coastal atmosphere of his surroundings, weaving stripped-back intimacy with textured, contemporary production.

Drawing on influences such as Jeff Buckley, Michael Kiwanuka, and Philip Sayce, Gabriel’s music explores the tension between creative drive and the demands of everyday life. His upcoming album, featuring the single Half Life, dives into the duality of living half in dreams, half in reality — a feeling that resonates with anyone navigating the space between ambition and grounding.
