Worked for many years as a journalist (BBC, newspapers, magazines) and for an international aid charity. Stopped formal work, moved to Brighton. Trained as an electrician, renovated properties. Took up jazz piano, taking courses at City Lit, Morley College and Brighton Jazz School. Regular at summer schools. I do this for pleasure, not money, but I take music seriously. I am married with 2 children and 2 grandchildren.
